CHPC Tetrathlon News – late May 2012
Competitions and Results
The results below demonstrate the improvements brought about by regular practice. Due to the very wet weather we had in April some tetrathlons were run as Tri’s only this was a great shame.
1st April Quorn Triathlon
Charlie and Henna Knott came 6th and 8th in their classes.
13th and 15th April Newmarket and Thurlow
CHPC were very well represented at this local competition, with ELEVEN members         achieving excellent results.
Marc and Freddie de la Sayette showed lots of promise in the Minnows.
Lucas Hemington, Benoit de la Sayette and Zachary Dampier-Kell were a formidable Mini team. Lucas achieved a fantastic shoot score of 800 - a personal best for him. Benoit was 1st in the swim and 3rd in the run. All three rode XC with Zachary and Benoit achieving full marks, putting Benoit 2nd overall, Lucas 3rd and Zachary 4th.  They all deserve huge congratulations and extra jelly babies!!
Penelope Dampier-Kell put in an excellent shoot score of 820, rode her new pony around the XC to eventually finish 2nd in a large Mini-class. Another one to watch for the future!!
Nuala Hemington and Henna Knott competed in Junior girls. All Henna’s swimming practice is really paying off and she finished in 1st place overall with a fantastic cross country round over a full up 3ft course.
Emily Procter finished 4th in the Intermediate girls. Charlie Knott(Tet) and Marcus Wing (Tri) also competed at Intermediate. Marcus had the best run and 3rd best shoot and swim to come 2nd in the Tri, Charlie completed the XC with a full 1400 marks to finish 2nd.  We need another boy to join them at area and we would have an awesome team!!!!
